Processing time at the consulate

General documents
- Valid passport (original; 2 blank pages).
- Completed and hand-signed Visa Application Form (no digital signatures).
- One 45x35mm colour photo (taken within 6 months), glued to form.
- Certificate of Eligibility (original or printout).
United Kingdom-specific documents
- If not British/Irish: proof of UK immigration status (BRP or digital status with Home Office share code).
- Application strictly by appointment (no walk-ins).
- Certain nationalities (e.g., Russia/CIS/Ukraine/Georgia): two forms + two photos.
- Visa fee: UK nationals typically pay a small fee; many nationalities are fee-exempt.

- No apostille/notarization for standard COE cases.

- Submit in person (postal applications generally not accepted).
- Processing ~5 working days; collect passport on assigned date; pay fee (if applicable) at collection.
